💯 we can and should find a way to initiate cold water immersion in the field. Supervisor/battalion chief carrying a preloaded cooler of ice during times of the year of high incidence could work.

This program is amazing. You wont regret the decision to spend a year in St Louis. Some of the most progressive EMS systems I’ve seen in my career.

For anyone considering an EMS fellowship, WashU EMS Fellowship, should be on your short list. I never expected to live in Missouri, but fortunate to discover it’s program with innovative and world class EMS systems. And surprisingly really good mountain biking trails /community as well.
