Tim Walker British Council Sadly this is true. The British Council are not supporting the teachers they recruited & then abandoned. Those still stuck in 🇦🇫 urgently need support to get visas. Those stuck in hotels in🇵🇰 need access to healthcare & education. The BC needs to step up #AtRiskTeachers

Sam is right when he says the €17/hr that Learnship pays its teachers is shameful. Sadly, the truth is far worse. Learnship is pushing pay cuts, down to €12/hr, on its teachers. This is half what a business English teacher in Germany was paid 20 years ago (ignoring inflation).
