One of the most relationship-building days I had as a teacher was on a June day when my whole class went outside, and we stood in a giant circle tossing around a beach ball. I wished we had done it earlier in the year. This is a good reminder.

Last year, DeonAndre Richardson started doing math problems with my 7-yr-old Charlie at school. Then he gave Charlie an Algebra book of his own. Charlie (now 8) just got an A on his final exam in his pre-algebra class through BYU. Thank you Mr. Richardson for seeing and believing.
