Today I had the exciting to opportunity to be part of a dragons den judging panel at University of Sunderland. Our final year adult nursing students did a fantastic job of presenting their innovations for their leadership and management module. Well done to you all, I was so impressed ⭐️

Brilliant collaboration day with lots of LEO facilitators across the country, New Zealand and America. It was amazing to be able to share the impact of our LEO programme for our staff. Thank you for your support Anna, Sorcha, Jen, Jan & all our incredible LEO facilitators!

A very warm welcome to our new 1st and 2nd year Midwifery students from Northumbria Uni who started their placements in our Trust this week. It was lovely to meet you all and we hope you have a great placement! Special thanks to all of our maternity teams for being so welcoming!

Today we welcomed back our 3rd year BSc Midwifery students. These students will be piloting a new model of practice education within our post natal department, utilising a coaching approach. An exciting collaboration with Viv Perry Northumbria Uni. Have a great placement! 🌟

3 weeks in to our coaching pilot on our post natal ward & the feedback from our Northumbria Uni Midwifery students is fantastic. Thank you so much to the team who have embraced this new model of learning, providing students with invaluable leadership and management experience 🌟
