Busy couple of days installing primary drainage to the worst areas of the course prior to secondary drainage with our 3 tonne gravel bander. Big thanks to John and Paul from shelton drainage for their help and expertise in far from ideal conditions we got the job done 👍🏻

Excellent results from phase 1 of drainage project. Outlet’s running well from the primary drainage installed last week! This will be hugely increased when the secondary drainage is added with the gravel bander at 1 meter spacing across the whole fairway areas 👌🏻

These ditches, approximately 600mm deep, normally are dry or in wet conditions carry a trickle of water in them! It’s extremely wet out there!

Demo of a GPS robotic mower. Trying it on fairways, definitely wouldn’t get a conventional fairway mower out in current ground conditions…. Food for thought 💭 💭

Apologies not posted for a while, so will update you. Alongside routine course maintenance the team have been busy with a few projects. 5th tee path revamp using Rite-Pave reinforcement system to stabilise the surface.

The removal of 5 conifers alongside the 4th green to improve year round light and airflow to the putting surface

Just started today to crown lift trees alongside the 4th hole to improve airflow across the hole.
