The post below was trending last few days and reminded me that my earlier digital hygiene post was woefully incomplete without a discussion around smartphone choices. The post goes into how on Android apps routinely use a loophole (that Android has known about and not fixed for

1 year since we launched LINGO-2 Wayve 🧠 With LINGO-2, our AI is trained to both make decisions *and* communicate them. The first closed-loop vision-language-action driving model (VLAM) tested on public roads, LINGO-2 has been game-changing for exploring the connection

📢 New paper #CVPR2025! Can meshes capture fuzzy geometry? Volumetric Surfaces uses adaptive textured shells to model hair + fur. It’s fast, looks great, and runs in real time even on budget phones. 🔗 autonomousvision.github.io/volsurfs/ 📄 arxiv.org/pdf/2409.02482

The use of AI in reviewing is a growing problem. Several of my ICCV papers have AI reviews -- one reviewer was so lazy that they left in the prompts! A common refrain that I hear is that people have difficulty writing in English and need to use AI to clean up their review.

A Western European government (guess which 🥖) approached Telegram asking us to silence conservative voices in Romania ahead of today’s presidential elections. I flatly refused. Telegram will not restrict the freedoms of Romanian users or block their political channels.

Today we're releasing FLUX.1 Kontext - a suite of generative flow matching models that allow you to generate and edit images. Unlike traditional text-to-image models, Kontext understands both text AND images as input, enabling true in-context generation and editing.
