The Chem Club was awarded the highest award a student chapter can receive, an Outstanding Award, from the American Chemical Society for the 2022-2023 year! Congratulations Chem Club!

The Chemistry Department brought students to Oak Ridge, Tennessee (the secret city) to learn about the history and chemistry of the Manhattan Project. We saw the old K-25 plant which was responsible for separating uranium using gaseous diffusion. Heidelberg University

Chem Club received an Outstanding Award tonight at the ACS meeting in NOLA. This was well earned and took a lot of hard work from the officers. Alyssa Derr, President of Chem Club, accepted the award.
