If the Springboks show up to Eden Park with defence like that, they’ll cop a real hiding. No altitude though there, so they might not be so gassed. They looked like they need Nienaber like the desert needs rain. One year gone things falling apart.

The Springboks winning streak just ended with 7 Tests in a row. The run: Argentina (Ranked 6th) Scotland (7th) England (7th) Wales (11th) Italy (8th) Italy (9th) Georgia (12th)

Ireland went 17 Tests in a row without a joyride like this. Also, won 19 in a row at home. Not only are the Springboks not in the “greatest ever” discussion, they are battling in the “greatest team of this era” discussion. Too many losses, not enough winning, two highly

Ellis Park tape is very ugly. SA’s front line defence was the worst showing since 2018, and the back end D even worse. Fassi, Willemse & Libbok can’t be picked again based on that defensive tape. I don’t know what you do with the gassed & unfit forwards except hope it was the

Joe Schmidt was the mastermind behind the AB’s 2022 win at Ellis Park, which turned the Bomb squad into the Blob squad. The Wallabies attack plan was similar. Run it out from deep often, turn the pack around and braai that big beef at altitude. It worked again.

Listen up, just letting you know I will never, ever, block anyone on X! No bitching out! We aren’t built like that here. This is an inclusive zone where everyone is welcome, especially South African rugby fans! Let’s talk rugby, let’s talk Springboks, let’s talk All Blacks, let’s

Very predictable reaction, although four changes were forced. Let’s see if this fixes the swiss cheese D line and non-existent backfield coverage. Wallabies can beat this team, which is a lesser Bok team than last week. Valetini, Tizzano would be great additions.

Angus Bell on the bench has been a winner. He's a starter, but been incredible as impact. Would have like to see Gleeson kept on the bench and added Tizzano. With wet conditions, aerial battle certain. Probably similar to when England won 25-10 in 2018, penalty goals and a couple

Valiant effort from the Wallabies. O’Connor missed a sitter conversion for the lead then gave a dodgy pass to hand the Boks victory. Missed another bankable three to make finish interesting. Very average showing from the Boks, but they get the job done. The writing is on the

The All Blacks have a massive game coming up at Eden Park that will test the record. Going head-to-head with their greatest rivals. What a game it will be. September 27, All Blacks vs Wallabies.

The stranglehold choke out by Fassi worthy of the octagon after no clear release with Wallabies hot on attack about to score. And of course, no replays. Huge moment and professional foul by Fassi to save the Boks.

Argentina create history with a well deserved 29-23 win over the All Blacks! An arm wrestle with aerial dominance to the Pumas paving the way. Three yellow cards to the ABs and too many penalties. A dogfight for sure; high quality physical content.

We know Argentina are strong, we’ve seen it plenty of times. No real surprises! It was a tight Test match. Aerial problems, goal kicking, discipline issues for the ABs. Time for Leroy Carter or Caleb Clarke. Simon Parker not bad on debut. How about some D-Mac at 10? An 80%+ goal

What a weekend for European rugby in the Rugby Championship. The URC-made Springboks and Premiership-heavy Pumas bounced back to beat the Wallabies and All Blacks. The northern hemisphere strikes back!

The All Blacks loss has cheered up some South African supporters. The Boks, and Pumas, were playing do-or-die games. Please understand the ABs were not on that level. And we saw how the Boks played faced with that situation. Smells like blood in the water!

Argentina were Rugby World Cup semi-finalists in 2023. Argentina beat every opponent in last year’s Rugby Championship for the first time. Argentina beat the British & Irish Lions. Now, the All Blacks again. They are strong. Many other dominos will fall!
