The second chapter of Acts records that on the day of Pentecost, as the apostles spoke, each person heard the word of God “in his own language” (Acts 2:6 RSV). Now, for the first time, all through the land, those who spoke English would hear the word of God in their own language.

The utterly gorgeous priests board at St Ismael’s Uzmaston, a short drive/walk outside of Haverfordwest. My great grandparents are buried in the churchyard, which has one of the most peaceful vistas of any I’ve visited, overlooking the Cleddau.
