I find it way easier to talk to strangers about what happened to me over telling my family. Hence why I haven’t. Not once have I sat down with them and told them what actually happened. Thing is, if I randomly brought it up now it could trigger them when it no longer triggers

It’s not scary when life hits you and you change. You probably didn’t see it coming. It’s scary when you sit down and say I’m not happy here doing this, living this way, so you make change. This is why people take ages actually changing, things have to get bad enough for you
