The Lost Pages of Bradford-on-Avon is out today! Get it at benjibarkley.com/bradford-on-av…. I now live in BoA, so I visit all these places regularly (except st. Mary Tory, which is up a big hill on the other side of town and I had to seek out specially).

Morning scroll: Did you know Bradford-on-Avon’s Town Bridge has a 17th-century lock-up on the bridge, once used as a tiny jail? It’s in the book!

The Kennet & Avon Canal opened in 1810 and linked Bristol to London. Rosie and Ollie chase pages along its towpath in the new story.

Bradford’s Tithe Barn is one of the largest medieval barns in England, built in the 14th century. In the book, a page flies over its roof!

The Iron Duke in Bradford-on-Avon is part of the old Rubber industry in the town. It is a calendar, used to form the rubber to the right thickness & give it a fine finish.

The Shambles is a narrow medieval lane in Bradford-on-Avon. I highly recommend the greengrocer & butchers for fresh food. And the book shop is a lot bigger than you'd think!
