The future of #superyacht propulsion? Our Gen Sec visited Team Britannia’s new powerboat Spirit of Challenge. Designed to set a new circumnavigation record, the vessel will be powered by a revolutionary fuel emulsion - a mixture of diesel, water and emulsifying agent. (1/2)

Of interest to our Members, the fuel is claimed to provide much more efficient burning, greatly reducing particulate and NOx emissions. Claims are one thing, but, by going the distance, this vessel will provide proof-of-concept and definitive data. We'll keep you posted. (2/2)
