No tv or radio ads- blessedly quiet while I read and tomorrow the Women’s Book Club dresses up and goes out for breakfast. Time out declared.

I created the Women’s Book Club with 2 rules: no religion, no politics. This morning the rules were broken, reminded, and broken again. I got up and left. No respect for the work I have put into this, and I am feeling down about it. Our club is not the time or place for that.

Three days later, I’m having a hot bowl of Polish bigos! Even more incredible when left outside in the cold for a couple of days. Crammed with pork, smoky sausage and sauerkraut. I like it with a dollop of sour cream stirred into it - a creamy bigos! 🇵🇱
