I now have my second placement confirmed. Physical - Adults and Older Adults in the community. Any advice to prepare for this and pre reading suggestions would be very welcome. Excited to get started🙂

End of my first week in a physical community setting with the neighbourhood team. Learning so much already and everyone’s been so lovely. Great to be so supported during placement. Looking forward to week 2!

Second OT placement complete! Been working in the community with adults who have Physical Disabilities. Such an amazing experience with an outstanding educator. Gained so much and I’ll be sad to leave. Back to uni for the next few months but not before enjoying the festivities 🎄

Uni taught us how to make a splint for each other last week. Great fun, but a lot of practice needed that’s for sure!
