To celebrate Early Years wellbeing week we’ve held the first ever Beancross BAFTA’s awards where all staff were recognised for their hard work, had a lovely breakfast together, treated ourselves to a Zetland pantry and had a Starbucks! 🏆🥰

To celebrate bonfire night we welcomed our families in for a fire and song!it was lovely to see so many families take up the opportunity to make memories with their child, whilst showing our families how we stay safe by the fire, we had got marshmallows and hot chocolate!

To celebrate nursery rhyme week, we have learned some new rhymes as well as revisiting familiar rhymes to us. We created our own twinkle star pictures, acting out 5 currant buns with our friends and learning the rhyme ‘the big ship sails’. World Nursery Rhyme Week #Worldnurseryrhymeweek

Getting into the spirit of Xmas a little earlier this year as we spread joy and kindness into our local community. We delivered some goods to a charity shop and since we have been enjoying lots of role play in our ‘coffee shop’ we visited Costa to enjoy a tasty hot chocolate ☕️✨

Please remember school is closed to pupils on Friday 29 November. This is due to a staff inservice day. We reopen to pupils on Monday 2nd December.

Our families have took part in a recent block of ‘come cook with us’ peep sessions. We created yummy food and discussed sleep schedules, healthy foods and communication to get new ideas and strategies to use at home ⭐️

It’s been a busy couple of weeks - we have been developing ‘our wee woodwork shed’ as we learn how we can be creative while being safe. 🪚 #SHANARRI Amazing to see our wee people create their designs via #digitallearning and markmaking then bringing them to real life experiences

This afternoon a group of children had went and joined the Grangemouth ✨Glitter✨ team to help pick up some litter in our local community. We were so surprised at how much litter there was,“people need to put it in the bin not on the floor” - N 🗑️

Through our most recent interest around pattern and shapes, we realised that we can find these in the wider community. We identified shapes and patterns on our way to our local care home, where we looked through photos of our most recent memories spent with all our friends 🥰

This year for world book day we had went with the theme of “Read your way!”. Some of the children had came in dressed as their favourite character from a story or wearing PJ’s!

Such a beautiful day to visit our special friends and play at the park 🥰☀️🩵 We have noticed some changes happening around us as it’s springtime 🌷🪺 #wellbeing #beingactive #partnerships #localcommunity
