Just got an LLM to write me a script that parses a folder full of markdown files, sends the content of each file to another LLM for a summary, and then writes that summary back to the header of the original file. Worked first time.

Feeling very bullish about autonomous AI agents and how they can be used to automate drudgery. Screw waiting for AGI. A swarm of good-at-one-thing workers that hand off to me or other automated agents for most processing is here now. Today. I’m going to spend the next few weeks

Mostly agree with this. The hype is warranted but I do have to constantly wrestle with the agent to keep on track and not randomly delete or change something that was working 5 mins ago. A large codebase maintained by it could get tangled up v. quick.
