My wife and I just returned from a two week vacation in Maui and Chicago. Still mentally in Maui, but physically on a Zoom call where someone just suggested we “circle back” to renegotiate issues on an agreement resolved 2 months ago. I’ve never rooted harder for a power outage.

Today I made the classic mistake of explaining why my client was wrong. Now, he appears to be on a quest to find something I did wrong. So far, it is not going so well for him. Love this for me.

I have come to the realization that my wife and I don’t foster puppies. We run a very inefficient adoption agency where every employee gets emotionally attached and buys the inventory. Either that or at this point, I think our puppy fostering has become a subscription service.
