We buried our mother in a private ceremony today. She was taken by the Norovirus. I have also been hospitalized. Love your family, people. We can all bicker and troll with, and blame each later. But let's do what we can now to save and to love.

This is my “Admixture" Rhombicuboctahedron (a variation on Jefferson Swycaffer's para-elemental design from Dragon Magazine). In it, I tried to represent the elements, the non-physical types of D&D damage, and the ten 5th edition Divine Domains that I use in my current campaign.

D&D Bastions. Good idea but Bastion rules are ridiculous, allow one-year-to-create permanent Teleportation Circles to just show up on level-up. "Happening in the background" explanations are asinine when rules recommended PCs level every 1-3 adventures (& might not even survive).

What's something different/refreshing for experienced D&D players to do for an adventure session or three? After many years of playing, I've got nothing left. What are some fun things to do for game sessions, while still keeping the game essentially D&D? Let me know. Thanks.
