If you want to be average, do things in an average way every day. If you want to be great, do things in a great way every day. It’s as simple as this: -Tolerating average will never produce greatness. -Greatness is never achieved without a sense of urgency.

The secret to success isn't a secret at all. It's discipline. Discipline is developed when get clear about what you want, decide to pay the price necessary to get it and resolve to give up whatever hinders your mission.

Don't let the work ethic of others dictate yours. Is your goal to be the best player on your team? In the district? In the state? In the country? Be all in. Set the bar high and make sure your work ethic aligns with your goals.

May we teach our kids to find the good in every situation. There’s no perfect life waiting for them. No perfect town. No perfect job. No perfect spouse. It’s an illusion that we’ll finally be happy when everything’s perfect. Life’s about being in the moment & realizing blessings.

Compete.

When someone describes the best thing about you, don’t let it be that you were a good athlete. Sports is what you do, not who you are. Life will go on and people will soon forget what you did…and you’ll be stuck with who you are.

True happiness can’t be found in things. Some kids have everything they want but not the things they need. Some of the greatest gifts we can give our kids are to teach them thankfulness, honesty, discipline, love, patience, forgiveness, accountability & honoring God in all we do.
