I got to meet Isabell Boyd from UT Knoxville and see her awesome research project on women in STEM. Great information, especially on how not having Paid Family Leave negatively affects women in STEM. Excellent work Isabell!

The House Instruction Committee, with TDOE support, voted to deny the use of a state approved benchmark in conjunction with TN Ready scores when determining 3rd grade retention. Our kids deserve multiple chances to show what they know. Reading is complex to measure accurately.
