Basic Needs Basic Rights Kenya CBM Global Disability Inclusion - KE just concluded a 2-day workshop with duty bearers and key stakeholders in Kilifi County aimed at strengthening community feedback and referral mechanisms on safeguarding and protection with a special focus on children and vulnerable adults.

The workshop brought together key state departments and agencies under the Judiciary, Ministry of Interior and National Administration, Ministry of Labour and Social Protection, Civil Society Organizations and persons with disabilities and their caregivers.

This activity enabled the team to create better clarity on existing reporting, referral and feedback mechanisms from the village level to the county level, that can be utilized by community members when seeking redress where safeguarding and protection are concerned.
