Day 1 of migrating to Base UI Select - Easy API to work around (<Positioner /> is goated) - Arrow keys or enter to trigger the popup - Added a hook to ensure the trigger stays the same width to prevent layout shifting - Inline content positioning

since radix-ui isn't being updated anymore, we've migrated all our styled components for the new website to base-ui. the experience has been great and i hope more component libraries use it over radix!

🪄Morphing popovers in Base UI are almost entirely functional. I've added support for transitioning dimensions, hover support, and controlled mode. Next goal: bug extermination🪲🎯

Migrating to Base UI is such a no brainer... Like it just works 😅 A component library is always compelling at first glance. But it's when you have to implement things like nested context menus with sub-menus or nested portalled elements that you hit a true obstacle

Pumped to add Base UI to our list of awesome Tailwind CSS partners 🤝🏻 Always a joy to follow along with what people are building in this space, and the Base UI team have exceptionally good taste and high standards.

Introducing basecn.dev shadcn ui components you know and love, now built on Base UI! Same philosophy. Same APIs. Better foundation. ✅ Install components using shadcn CLI ✅ Easy migration from Radix UI ✅ Same styles as shadcn/ui components Migration guide
