I am soooo proud of Harper, she has gone from being a timid woodwind player to a confident clarinet Barnsley Junior Band member. Tonight she played in her Junior band and then to play with the intermediate band and smashed it. Well done sweetheart 🎼🎵😘🎼🎵

It was very moving indeed to attend the Memorial Service to Paul and Jack Sykes to mark the tenth anniversary of their deaths. Their wonderful mum, Claire Throssell, Barnsley Wind Bands, and BarnsleySingers created the most magnificent celebration of their lives and talents.

The National Youth Orchestra takeover at Concert Bands Barnsley Wind Bands rehearsal this evening. We are so lucky to have such incredibly talented and inspiring visitors working with our young people. Lots of new skills and ways to think about playing together in an ensemble. #SYMusicHub
