Maybe if entrenched Democrats stopped attacking ⁦Zohran Kwame Mamdani⁩ and praised his grassroots mobilization we wouldn't have a ⁦Zohran Kwame Mamdani⁩ problem. Just a thought. cnn.com/2025/08/14/pol…

Can you possibly trust a President who can't spell, has serious problems with grammar, and capitalizes at random? I think not. A President who can't write can't think. Thank you for your attention to this matter.

I want to congratulate leading Democrats’ for their insistence on saying the takeover of DC is a “stunt” or a “distraction.” It’s a rare trifecta of intellectual failure, political stupidity, and moral obtuseness.

Gallego on Mamdani: "It's okay to say 'I disagree with this, this, and this, but I agree with that.' But the idea that we're just gonna throw out people that are really bringing in new ideas to the fold, exciting people, just because they're slightly to the right or to the left

SB 79 is a litmus test for electeds who are serious about housing and those who are not. For state legislators, voting no is an indictment of their commitment to housing and climate. For local electeds, it is where we see who believes that well done is better than well said.

Utterly unresponsive. This is the problem with those who merely complain about "open borders liberals" --none of them can offer an even mildly coherent answer for how they intend to manage aging population + potential fiscal crisis + need for economic growth.

NIMBYs are always for housing. Just not here. Or now. Or that type. Or for those people. Housing is fine as long as it doesn't cast a shadow. Or the occupants won't drive, make noise, have children or exist in space. They support housing as long as they—personally—can veto it.

Texas will win if California doesn’t build. Mayor Bass is sending Angelenos to Texas because she refuses to allow homebuilding. Think former Angelenos will vote for the party that kicked them out, or that welcomed them in?

I find this shit so galling. What you're getting your retweets in dunking on Trump while *checks notes* doubling down on exclusionary zoning in the city you actually lead??
