Another note on bar scores: if history is a guide, the NCBE tries to get out average (mean) MBE scores prior to states releasing results. So it would surprise me if that data isn’t released next week, even if states don’t start till September. The average MBE score provides

One way I’ve thought about it: prior to the change, would the company have sued another restaurant if the other restaurant appropriated that design? Maybe the infringer included some subtle changes: but still, a man, a barrel, etc. Similar colors. Classic trademark stuff.
