This graph sums it up. In acute stroke with tandem lesions (ICA + intracranial occlusion), acute carotid stenting during EVT was associated with better 90-day outcomes than EVT without stenting. Outcomes were similar with or without prior IV thrombolysis (IVT). Caveat:
