Good thread. Having grown up around the centre of German automotive industry, this sadly resonates. Unionised 35h work weeks and resistance to change are holding back a lot of smart people, as the incentives to build great stuff are completely fucked here.

Lots of alpha in this. Many founders probably don't want to hear this and instead raise millions for sth undifferentiated that seems easy to scale. Out-hustling on a budget is back vs. 2021 when every 15ppl company had a Chief of Staff & an EA
