We are hiring! Looking for research engineers to build cool stuff with our SOTA foundation models (eg. Imagen 3 and Veo 2). Google DeepMind is a fantastic place to be with amazing colleagues and huge potential for impact. Please reach out: boards.greenhouse.io/deepmind/jobs/…

Veo 2 is now available to developers via the Gemini API! Starting today, with those who have billing enabled (Tier 1 and above) can start generating videos in the API, with support for text-to-video and image-to-video. Read more: ai.google.dev/gemini-api/doc…

Veo 2 is more than just a video generation tool in @GoogleCloud’s #VertexAI. 🎥 Here’s a rundown of its features. 🧵

3/ It’s simply unbelievable how far we’ve managed to come in just one year since Veo started as a project: Veo 2 is still very much a SOTA for text-to-video model and now Veo 3 is a *significant* leap in both quality and capability. I’m exceptionally proud of the work of the Veo

truly exciting to see our team push past the SOTA, especially when we were already SOTA. So proud to be part of such a talented group!

It’s kind of mindblowing how good Veo 3 is at modeling intuitive physics. Our world models are getting pretty good, & in my view has important implications regarding the computational complexity of the world - the last line of my bio for me has always been the ultimate quest ⬆️

Veo 3 dropped about 100 hours ago, and it's been on 🔥🔥🔥 ever since Now, we’re excited to announce: + 71 new countries have access + Pro subscribers get a trial pack of Veo 3 on the web (mobile soon) + Ultra subscribers get the highest # of Veo 3 gens w/ refreshes How to try

This might be the most fun I've ever had creating a video – and it's 100% because of Veo3. Forget fidelity and physics for a second. The real game-changer? Being able to generate dialogue right in the text prompt. What used to take two extra steps now happens instantly — and the

Greenfield prompt tip of the day: Veo 3's 8-second generations can hold quite a lot of dialogue, as shown in this film noir scene. 20 words is a reasonable maximum to consider, you might squeeze 25. Much of the appeal of the film noir style is the mystery low key lighting

The demand for Veo 3 has been off the charts! Millions of videos have been generated in the past few days alone, now available on mobile, and in more countries (including the UK! 🇬🇧). Try it out in the Google Gemini App (and the Flow tool for filmmakers at flow.google)

Very impressed with Veo 3 and all the things people are finding on r/aivideo etc. Makes a big difference qualitatively when you add audio. There are a few macro aspects to video generation that may not be fully appreciated: 1. Video is the highest bandwidth input to brain. Not
