AZTECS WIN 77-45 It’s clear as day that this team has insane depth. Neither Gwath or Dixon-Waters played and you can still feel it. Both freshman seem well above their age and it feels as if everybody knows their roll. Very promising. 1-0.

I do believe there was a concerted effort in using our depth. Last night was very “balanced”. 9 guys played at least 15 min and shot at least 3 FGA. Outside of Byrd, nobody played more than 25 min. Oh yeah - Gwath, Dixon-Waters, and Davis didn’t play. This is fun. #Depth

I can’t get over these cross court skip passes from Harrington/Byrd. Defenders are in proper help and in the first clip tags the roller (Compton) like he’s taught and both passes make it though. Sheesh🔥

If you aren’t a CBB fanatic, you might not know about a team named University of South Carolina Upstate. The Spartans came into tonight ranked 339th on KenPom. Fresno St just lost to them at home.

Rough start for the MWC. Boise loses to D2 Hawaii Pacific (n/a) UNLV loses to UT Martin (297) Fresno St loses to USC Upstate (339)

I look at Fresno State basketball and can’t help but feel bad. I feel as if they have little to know immediate future. Not an attractive recruiting location, no fan support, and zero momentum. I truly don’t see the direction of that program. It’s rough.
