Happening Now AFMA crews have been called to assist the Town of Wickenburg on what’s being called the #MonarchFire. We're working alongside crews from Daisy Mountain, Glendale, Peoria, Surprise, Avondale, and Buckeye to battle the blaze.

Pre-Academy is underway! AFMA’s 10 recruits are putting in the work—PT, fundamentals, teamwork, and mindset—as they gear up for the Fire Academy.

On August 28th at approximately 11pm, AFMA Engine 322 made entry at a working fire, located an unconscious adult female, and removed her from the dwelling. Crews provided immediate care and transported her to the hospital in critical, but stable condition.

AFMA extends our deepest condolences to Timber Mesa Fire & Medical District and to the families and loved ones of the two young firefighters who died in the line of duty. We stand with you in grief and solidarity.
