...rarely do we give the teachers, nurses, custodians, and (only recently during a pandemic) food service workers the material things actually needed to live life like a hero. In fact I cannot think of a single instance where “hero” hasn’t been used to avoid material needs.

Moral of the story— we’re all essential. We’re all valuable. We all deserve the love and $$ and access needed to be happy and healthy. It shouldn’t take a pandemic to realize this...
