Transboundary plastic pollution is a serious crisis. I visited Mannar, Sri Lanka, where I found that much of the plastic waste comes from India. Even saw a person wearing Bharat Jodo Yatra cap. he had found floating. Surprisingly there is no regional plan to address this!

What’s happening in Gurugram is a textbook example of consequences of “Stupid Projects.” Years of pouring public money into flyovers, underpasses, and tunnels, marketed as symbols of ‘development’ have done little to solve the traffic problem. Instead, they’ve made things worse.

Solidarity to pro-worker / democratic forces in Brazil. If this referendum succeeds, it will set a standard for the whole world, especially for BRICS countries. Equality must be the path and end goal of development.

Imagine producing one of the world’s most iconic teas and earning less than the official minimum wage. In Darjeeling's tea gardens workers are paid Rs. 250 per day which is 30% less than the daily wage for unskilled labour. And even this small amount goes unpaid for months.
