We DO "trust the science." So we understand that even biological sex can be non-binary, and that doesn't begin to touch on the complexity of *gender* identity. Please leave 'science' out of hurtful and inaccurate political statements! #MedTwitter #transgender #genderfluid

Spent my last week of med school vaccinating against #COVID19. What a rewarding experience... we have been living in a pandemic for one whole year & I can finally start to see the light... P.S. I almost vaccinated my mama, but chickened out so we just took this pic instead 😜

1- there is no such thing as an ovarian cancer screening test 2- the best thing you could have done for preventing and treating cancer, in the most uninsured state in the country, is expand Medicaid- not get insurance coverage, for tests that don't exist, for people w/o insurance

If I ever become pregnant, I'm going to throw a gender reveal party and reveal that gender is a social construct. I will have slides, and there will be a quiz.

I know Greg Abbott isn’t a gynecologist so I don’t expect him to know this but when we say it's a 6-week ban it's counting from a person's last period. It's ~4wks (or less) from when fertilization occurs & ~1.5wks from a positive pregnancy test & at least 2 visits 24hrs apart.
