Thank you to the team at Hobgoblin Theatre Co for the wonderful Fantastic Fred Experience day of interactive workshops. Very important messages shared on how children can look after their mental health. #MentalHealthMatters

A wee thread about a young boy and the tweet that got away. Feel free to RT. Three weeks ago my youngest, Gabriel 12, came home upset. His love of woodwork was not deemed cool, nor was only having 6 followers on his instagram. 1/15

Wittersham is very proud to have been presented with the Heritage Schools Award from Historic England. This was all through the support and project work with our pupils by Rachel Bennington, the High Weald Education Officer. Thank you Rachel 😊 @highweald

Thank you so much to Wittersham Parish Council for presenting all the children in school with a commemorative Jubilee mug. The Chairman presented the gifts and our own School Council are pictured here receiving them on behalf of the school #community #Wittersham

Thanks to the staff & families of Wittersham CEP School for helping make yesterday’s WSA Summer Fayre an amazing community event. Even the Queen came to take a look at the vintage vehicles & guess how many balloons were in the tractor. Early indications are we have raised around £3000!

Still inspired by their Rye Harbour trip, the children first created artwork inspired by Matt Sewell & then transferred that into textiles after seeing the work in the visitor centre🎨 🧵😊 Rye Harbour Nature Reserve #mattsewell

We’ve really enjoyed planning lessons for The Final Year. We think as many children as possible should be able to get their hands on it. So, we’re giving away a class set! Simply like this post, repost it and follow Literacy Shed on X. We’ll draw a winner at random on 13/2/24

10 reflections on the education profession, from 2 old timers: 1. Our education system is currently in a very fragile state, from the early years to higher education. The next Government will need to grasp the scale of the problems very quickly. This couldn't be more important.
