With Oregon Nurses Association opposed, the effort to vaccinate more #Oregon health care workers remains doomed. Regulatory capture, AKA venal politicians who want campaign $$$ more than they want constituents to thrive. #orleg #OrPol OR Health Authority

Charlita subscribes to the notion of Cura Personalis or caring for the people. That is why she & Gonzaga University have helped others in the community get vaccinated, including offering the space to learn about & get the vaccine, & gathering volunteers to support vaccination clinics.

Oregon viewed fewer hospital rooms as a good thing, building a model healthcare system with the fewest licensed beds per capita in the nation. Now as the Delta variant sweeps unvaccinated rural areas, the state is desperate for more. google.com/amp/s/www.lati…

"We're working harder than we've ever worked in our lives in this battle against COVID and we're losing." Nurses describe the staffing and patient care crisis in our hospitals. Thanks to #HealthCareHeroes, we can support them by getting vaccinated. fb.watch/7xwtztXoXy/

Hospitalizations up. Hundreds statewide boarding in the ED, even more who can't be discharged. We are nearing a capacity crisis due to the #staffingshortage. public.tableau.com/app/profile/ap…

A financial role reversal for Oregon hospitals: once the moneymakers, bigger hospitals were pummeled financially last year while smaller hospitals did well, Christian Wihtol reports.

This system pulls data directly from the electronic medical records (EMR) of every hospital in Oregon and feeds it into the Oregon Capacity System, all fully automated in near real-time while ensuring patient privacy is appropriately protected.

Love our Aventon but customer support needs help. Got a faulty rear wheel assembly. June 28 asked for a replacement was told 24-48 hour response. Still waiting even after 45 minutes on hold today. Nothing. Loosing precious riding days.
