That's a downer I think: One AAA game this FY is KF3 and the other one is *just*a publishing deal.
The unknown one (Metro?) is delayed to 26/27.
9 (!) AAA games in 26/27 27/28 (28/29) !excluding any AAA games financed by partners! (Tomb Raider). That's nice - in the long term
$EMBRAC Here is some effort from my side, comparing the games ROI from Q4 23/24 with Q4 24/25. So you can see the dots move 🥳
Don't know whats the takeaway here, maybe that backcatalog and long tail is a major contributor? Hopefully this also applies to the recent releases...
While we're unable to update the build to remove the message, we've made the decision to not enforce the NDA for this next playtest session. So please stream and share to your heart’s content!
$EMBRAC KF3 doesn't seem to be the all dooming release. 30k CCU, already reaching my bearcase, soely by Europeans on a thursday wokday. Reviews seem to settle around 70% (players & press). Let's see how it goes this evening and weekend. Est. dev. budget 40-60kk.
$EMBRAC KF3 That's some stable plateau (GMT+2)
12+ hours mostly consistent (+-10%)
The duration of game sessions positively impacts KF3's CCU. Typical horde shooters rarely last more than an hour per session, whereas titles like KCD2 provide 1.5 to 3 hours per session.
