Double post this week! Young Cabless Skarloey! Had a spare Skarloey body without his boiler and smokebox, decided to cut down the cab and make a Cabless version. Merely similar to my RWS Skarloey, Just cabless. It'll share the boiler with RWS Skarloey.

With overcrowding during the summer & the GER reluctant to provide more stock for the W&U, in March 1907 Stratford drew up plans to fit roof seating to its bogie tramcars. Though it added 40 seats, this 'fair weather' provision was too costly due to necessary roof strengthening.

In the days of rope haulage, descending Cowlairs Incline entailed taking off the locomotive & putting brake wagons on, each individually manned. Exposed to the elements, the brakemen suffered the sulfurous conditions of Cowlairs Tunnel & being pelted with debris by local boys!
