Congratulations to 🇰🇭 on the inscription of the Cambodian Memorial Sites on the UNESCO 🏛️ #Education #Sciences #Culture 🇺🇳 World Heritage List. Australian Dr Helen Jarvis’s dedicated work helping 🇰🇭 to prepare the nomination dossier was vital. Great to see her, Hang Nisay and Sardar Umar Alam at today’s ceremony.

Loved meeting the energetic students from University of Sydney during their visit to 🇰🇭 for the INCiTE summer school program. For Australia to be more focused on Southeast Asia and better equipped to engage with it, we need to nurture the curiosity young Australians have in the region.

Danielle Heinecke Tiffany McDonald ASEAN Thank you Danielle Heinecke. ASEAN gives members like 🇰🇭 a strong collective voice and a platform to address shared regional challenges. 🇦🇺 is working with 🇰🇭 to boost trade, security, connectivity and sustainable, inclusive development. Happy #ASEANDay. Over to you Australian Embassy in Laos!

🇦🇺 welcomes the commitment made at the Extraordinary General Border Committee meeting in Kuala Lumpur on 7 August to fully and effectively implement the ceasefire agreement between 🇰🇭 and 🇹🇭, including the establishment of an ASEAN-led observer mechanism. foreignminister.gov.au/minister/penny…

The conflict has displaced large numbers of children. It’s important that life and learning can go on as normally as possible. This week, 🇦🇺 embassy staff and families, in 🤝 with World Vision Cambodia, donated 📚🧸🖍️🎨 to child friendly spaces in camps across 🇰🇭 to help ensure this.
