Yesterday I filed for reelection to the JoCo Board of Education. If reelected I will continue to serve the students, staff and citizens of Johnston County to the best of my ability. I thank you for your support in the past and humbly ask for your continued support in the future.

Lovely holiday event at Selma Elementary today. They are prepared to feed over 500 and do vision screenings. Wonderful community support. What a fun time for all, including the grown-ups. Thank you for the invitation.

A wonderful night at the 2020 Clayton Chamber Annual awards. Congratulations to all of the winners. Absolutely loved seeing the list of Inspire mentors for our students at CMS and our Super Star teacher nominees and winner. Congratulations to Rep Donna White-Citizen of the Year.

Glad the storms didn’t keep people away from the 71st Benson Annual Chamber Awards last night. Good food. Nice event as always. Congrats to all of the winners. Special congrats to Educator of the year Ms. Beth Hockaday.

When I ran before, I wanted to see more vocational opportunities to ensure our students who didn’t want to go to college were job ready and life ready. Did you know that we have internships and pre-apprenticeships with companies like Grifols, Sysco, Caterpillar and Novo Nordisk?

Clayton HS Booster Club Reverse Raffle - I won the card game for the extra raffle ticket. Woohoo. Still in at the moment. Great turn out and great food. And one winning gift card ticket - $25 Lowe’s. 😍

A day of celebration- the groundbreaking ceremony of our new Elementary school on Lynch Rd. It’s moving along fast and will be ready for students in the fall of 2021. I am so proud to be a part of this brand new Johnston County Public School.

Congratulations graduates of Cleveland HS. I was Cleveland Proud to be in Ram country. Best wishes to you all. Thank you Mrs. Sauls for my new Cleveland mask. I will wear it proudly. You did a great job with the 2020 graduation ceremony.
