We're so grateful to the nine wonderful students from Vanderbilt University who spent their Spring Break with us last week! They cooked lunches for clients, taught ESL, painted, assembled furniture, and much more! We hope their time spent with us was meaningful &we so enjoyed having them!

It’s been 1 year since the Biden administration enacted its Circumvention of Lawful Pathways rule. This harmful policy continues to thwart the lawful right of many migrants to seek asylum. We call upon the Biden administration to end the #AsylumBan and protect asylum in the U.S.

Volunteers are essential to our work - they teach classes, cook community lunches, deliver food to clients, are community mentors, organize donations, help maintain our building, & much more. We are so grateful for our volunteers!

Many of our clients take comfort in sharing cultures and traditions from home as they settle into life in MD. Recently, our client Halimatou led a cooking class through our Client Ambassador Program and made a traditional Guinean dish for clients and staff. Thank you Halimatou!
