Honestly the hardest thing I’ve ever done . Hill after relentless hill in 20 degree weather. I’ve trained but this was something else . 75km done and £1886 raised for Birmingham Hospice . At 50km I did have a cry 😅 but the wife followed me in her car and helped get me through!

Surgery week ! Finally getting my hand sorted :) and unfortunately I’m going to have to have 6 weeks off work to make sure it heals ok 😅

Had surgery yesterday on my hand. Big thanks to the staff at the Royal Orthopaedic Hospital, who were very friendly and just all lovely in general. Feeling quite sore today, now the nerve block has worn off…so time to rest and recover. #NHS
