Today we mark the 73rd birthday of Romas Kalanta. On 14 May 1972 Romas #Kalanta, a 19-year-old Lithuanian student, set himself on fire in #Kaunas to protest against the Soviet occupation. His sacrifice became one of key symbols of #Lithuania's resistance against the Soviet regime
