County Assembly of Kisumu has today approved the appointment of Mrs. Monicah Akello Ogada as a female external member of the County Assembly Service Board. The Board is entrusted with the overall management and leadership of the Assembly to ensure its mandate and goals are achieved.

Pursuant to Kisumu County Assembly Standing Orders No. 25(3), the House has today adjourned for a short recess till Tuesday 25th April 2023 at 2.30pm- in accordance with the County Assembly Calendar.

County Assembly of Kisumu today hosted Kiambu County Assembly's Commitee on Members Services, Facilities and Welfare who visited to benchmark on key issues aimed to improve their role of legislation, representation and oversight. The two parties held peer to peer learning.

VETTING OF CHIEF OFFICER NOMINEES County Assembly of Kisumu will begin vetting of Chief Officer nominees tomorrow Tuesday 9th May, 2023. The nominees will appear before various Sectoral Committees as indicated in the schedule below. The vetting is scheduled for tomorrow and Wednesday.
