This is the quintessential STL paradox. Complain about how crappy downtown is with its crime and vacancy and then complain about any plan involving tax incentives aimed at luring someone to take a chance on fixing the problem. This is a big reason why we never improve 👇

I am admittedly pretty easy on St Louis CITY SC because of personal relationships with people there but if something drastic isn’t done soon, fan apathy is inevitable. When it comes to a fan base, apathy equates to gangrene. The team needs to do something. Now.

Part of the reason the Cards are facing such a drastic reduction in fan support is the arrogance of the team in ignoring the displeasure of the fans. That is a team with a century plus of support. City shouldn’t be ignoring the unhappiness of its fans.
