During March, we continued on our quest to visit every city in England visiting 2 of our favourites, Wells and Bath. Vicars close in Wells is the oldest complete residential street in Europe, dating back to the 1300s!

April next, & we were invited to have a look at the wonderful facility at Peterborough by our friends at GB Railfreight with our pal Billy & Trains. We were allowed to have a go on their state of the art simulator, which was brilliant fun! Ribblehead viaduct was pretty cool too 😎

Our quest to visit every English city made the local news 😁 this was a lovely way to end the year. Austins face when his pictures popped up on the tele was priceless!!

This was easily my favourite beer from the German box. This is Hohenthanner Märzen Festbier. A lovely smooth, chewy, mild beer with a malty aftertaste. Honestly, this was absolutely exceptional and one of the best German beers I've had to date!
