Bought some router bits for cutting G10 fiberglass board.. i guess now I have an excuse to someday order carbon fiber plates and make stuff out of that. Idk, CF is one of those materials that is cheezy/meh to me, doesnts scream "high quality" more gimmicky in most use cases.

Phenolic Sheets tonight. Yet another material i never messed with. Paper+Resin thats high pressure pressed. Tis neato

First 3D Print with PET-CarbonFiber filament. Runs 280C print temp, 100C bed temp, 50C chamber temp. Came out pretty flawless! Gotta upgrade my heat-insert game because my iron struggled getting the inserts hot enough for this material. Next weekend's adventure I suppose

So many things to do/work on..so little time during the weekdays. But, it keeps me busy and keeps me flowing. Having good chill fun @ work then coming home to misc project work / development, makes for pretty hella good weeks.

I always forget one of my print files..stupidly adds "floating supports" and it always throws some plastic boogers on the bed. Oh well..no harm.

I did one of those "randomly drive around the country for hour" things earlier today cuz it was a nice temperature and i wanted am excuse to drive around. Gas go byebye quickly with those fun drives

More manual lathe adventures tonight. Did the typical "watch/listen to Adam Savage work on a project while I crank on the lathe" Sunday is cleanup day I guess.

Got food today....saw Burger King across the street and was like Shi.. I shoulda gone there cuz it's no longer Saturday...and then relised I missed the dumb joke opportunity Saturday too. Weeeee x3
