New preprint! Cells produce and consume voltage and ionic currents. In bacteria, the proton motive force (~100 mV) is generated by respiration complexes, and used by many mechanisms. Among them, two nano-rotary motors: ATP synthase and flagellar motor. biorxiv.org/content/10.110…
