4 AM wake up call to work on my data! Figuring out more codes and theme through my document analysis! I will begin writing chapters 4 & 5 at the end of August. Hopefully completing those chapters and defending sometime in October or November. 🙏

Thank you to our King Springs Lions Dads Club and families for the great campus cleanup day! Mounds of mulch, put out, refresh on our lion paws, 800 pound picnic tables moved and organizing all the new resources in the correct locations with new shelves. 🦁🤩#GameOn #LevelUp

I don't think I have ever had a weekend before the first day of school where I have not spent time at the building! It's just part of what I do as a principal. Last-minute touches, opening the building for teachers & of course we have popsicle play date with our kindergartners!🦁

It was a great preplanning week, several meals together provided by our PTA and church partners! Coffee and donuts, the first day back! Can't wait to see our students on Monday! #GameOn #LevelUp

Final chapter loading… It is exciting to be in the final chapter and over 100 pages into my dissertation! I cannot wait to wrap up this final chapter. It is fascinating what I have found about School improvement monitoring!

Proud of my daughter and her graduate school journey so far! She is learning her new city and rice university! She's making friends, has secured a campus job at the Moody art center and has secured an internship with a nonprofit organization! 🤩
