Me and Asher Soryl have a new paper about directed panspermia, the deliberate spread of life in the universe. It is a technical possibility in the imminent future, relatively cheap to attempt, and potentially irreversible. Should we do it?

I distinguish between being and existing. Existing is "it's there when you check". Being is "it is there whether you check or not". Qualia is the only real being. But lots of things exist :-)
