PSA this holiday season. Please try and be kinder to those grieving at Christmas. My dad died 4 years ago, and almost as bad as his passing were my in-laws who didn’t care, who demanded I show up to “family” dinner. It just about did me in. sarahnannen.substack.com/p/psa-for-anyo…

If I have to hear the preaching from Scripps that “medical staff ARE real doctors” again, I might just cry from frustration. Folks, being a nurse means you are LITERALLY not a doctor. You did not graduate from medical school, you are not a physician. No.

It's great when he tells you his plan. He just cares about his billionaire real estate friends and helping them make money. He doesn't care about you.

He became so closely associated with “strategery” and Will Ferrell’s caricature, that i really did think that was the bottom. NOPE

Property taxes are the largest single expense for housing providers in New York City, and it's not even close. Mamdani saying he's going to increase taxes while increasing housing affordability is complete nonsense, like saying he can make 2 + 2 equal 5.

No. The promise of America is that we all contribute to the public good — no matter how small. The wealthy should pay most. It's how we fund health care, strengthen Social Security, build housing, teach kids, prevent crime, and defend our country. We are in this together.

What a treat that the war zone vibes are back with the street racing insanity in Mission Valley. At least this time there’s a police helicopter involved

I am getting an all-natural high from watching the Hoarders show while cleaning/organizing my house. Getting rid of stuff has never felt so good.

I’d really love it if the train of so-called feminist men would do a little less talking & a little more action. The word about Swallwell & women issues has been out there and credible since at least 2018. It was just more politically expedient to support him…until today? 🙄

Men continue to allow other men to behave like this. Summer of 2013 we ousted Bob Filner in San Diego, and a lot of people involved in that helped Swallwell get to where he is today. It’s disgusting and all too familiar.

Don’t use rideshare folks. I still have a lump on the back of my head where I was struck by a driver’s gun. And nightmares.

Excellent post from Ben Dreyfuss about the insanity of The Groups dismissing Michael Douglas’ proposal for a 10%/10 year cut in greenhouse gas emissions starting in 1996 as inadequately ambitious. open.substack.com/pub/bendreyfus…
